PCAS art and video competitions
PCAS and its stakeholders have been hosting an annual art competition for children aged 4 to 12 years old for 8 years. Children are encouraged to display their creativity and spread the word about the importance of hand hygiene, recommended vaccinations, or appropriate antibiotic use. Winners receive certificates and books. For several years, an in-person award ceremony was held in Harrisburg, PA to honor the winners.
2021 Video Competition Winner, Irena Potochny!
Two video competitions have been held in collaboration with PCAS stakeholders. Students in grades 7th through 12th are encouraged to create an innovative 2 minute video on antibiotic safety, appropriate antibiotic use, and promotion of antibiotic stewardship practices.
