Longitude prize AMR diagnostics workshop and lecture at UCLA
Los Angeles, CA, USA
California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI), University of California, LA
We invite all local institutions, researchers and companies that are actively working on point-of-care diagnostic tests to impact antibiotic resistance to this event, followed by a reception.
The Longitude Prize is an international challenge prize competition that will ultimately select one point-of-care diagnostic test to receive a payout of £8 million ($9.1 million). The winning test will significantly reduce misuse or overuse of antibiotics by creating an affordable, accurate and rapid point-of-care diagnostic test. This test must be practical to use in North America and Europe as well as low and middle-income countries.
