Antimicrobial resistance prevention and education in schools

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threatens global health, food security, and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Six organizations recognize the importance of young people in tackling AMR. Schools play a crucial role in addressing AMR, and implementing strategies can help prevent and mitigate its spread while promoting overall health and well-being within school communities. Policy-makers and practitioners should consider these strategies to ensure the world’s progress towards achieving the SDGs.
