The C-CAMP – ICARS One Health AMR Challenge 2025 identifies seven awarded innovations for AMR across the One Health spectrum
The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), with support from the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS), announced the winners of the inaugural One Health AMR Challenge 2025. The initiative is part of the India AMR Innovation Hub, aligned with India’s National Action Plan 2.0 on AMR, and aims to accelerate AMR innovations from concept to real-world deployment, especially in low- and middle-income countries.

Human Health innovations

Bigtec Labs Pvt. Ltd. – multiplexed reverse transcription (RT)-PCR diagnostic for antibiotic resistance in lower respiratory infections.

Muse Diagnostics – TreBle Respire, an AI-driven platform for early respiratory infection detection and antimicrobial stewardship.

GenePath Diagnostics – affordable modular panel for respiratory pathogens and AMR detection compatible with open PCR platforms.

Achira Labs – rapid point-of-care test to distinguish bacterial vs viral infections to optimise antimicrobial use.

5. FNDR – solution to remove antimicrobials and other active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing effluents.
Animal Health
6. Ultranutri – circular, insect-based feed solutions for shrimp health to reduce AMR pressure in aquaculture.
7. Chimertech – Quadmastest & Inline Quadmastest (IQ) for rapid, reagent-free early mastitis detection to curb unnecessary antibiotic use in dairy.
Impact
