AmrProfiler: a comprehensive tool for identifying antimicrobial resistance genes and mutations across species

  13 May 2025

AmrProfiler is a tool that identifies antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes, resistance-associated mutations, and ribosomal RNA gene mutations across nearly 18,000 bacterial species. It integrates data from established databases and is the first to report mutations in rRNA genes. AmrProfiler supports genome assemblies in multiple formats and allows users to customize detection thresholds. It provides actionable insights for research and clinical applications in AMR.
