PRV launches antibiotic resistance report

The amount of patent information is huge. The problem – it is not used. Antibiotic resistance is a challenge for society, a global fate that affects everyone. Resilient gentle bacteria increase steadily. Over the past decades, the spread of antibiotic resistance has become one of the biggest threats to human health globally.
In order to pay attention to WHO’s World Antibiotic Awareness Week, the Patent and Registration Office has launched the report The Importance of Patent Information When Taking Strategic Action. The report shows how to strategically use patent information to better target research money to where they are most needed, such as antibiotic resistance.
