The authors argue that standardization of Whole Genome Sequencing for Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing by challenge with consistently phenotyped strain sets of defined genetic diversity is necessary to compare the efficacy of methods of prediction of antibiotic resistance based on genome sequences.
