Request to participate in a WHO expert opinion process on the burden of AMR
WHO is conducting a survey to assess the health and economic burden of infections caused by drug resistant bacteria for which there is not sufficient evidence in the literature. This is part of a broader scheme of work to assess the value of vaccines in combatting antimicrobial resistance (AMR). You are being contacted because you have been identified as an expert in the health and/or economic burden of AMR in your region.
The pathogens for which we require expert opinion on health burden or economic burden are Chlamydia trachomatis, Vibrio cholerae, Clostridium difficile, Heliobacter pylori, Group A Streptococcus, Haemophilus influenzae Type b (Hib), and Neisseria meningitidis. The survey will take approximately 4 minutes of your time for each pathogen and is available in English, Spanish and French at this link.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance in filling out this survey for those pathogens that fall within your area of expertise. Please do also forward this survey to others with relevant expertise. Please complete the survey before 18th of February 2022.
Many thanks in advance for your contribution. Please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Mateusz Hasso-Agopsowicz (hassoagopsowiczm@who.int) and Dr. Isabel Frost (frosti@who.int) with any further questions.
Yours sincerely,
