New collaboration to check AMR

A groundbreaking meeting has taken place to discuss how veterinary diagnostic laboratories and practising vets can work together to improve prescribing to reduce antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
With an emphasis on how laboratories can support individual vets’ decision-making during prescribing, the meeting was organised by SAMSoc, BSAVA and the RVC, and hosted at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service in Solihull.
