JOINT CONFERENCE ON ANTIMICROBIAL DRUG DEVELOPMENT: Cancelled

The interdisciplinary “Joint Conference on Antimicrobial Drug Development”, organized by the research networks IRAADD (www.iraadd.eu), DZIF (www.dzif.de/en) and Institut Pasteur (https://www.pasteur.fr/en), will focus on current success stories but also remaining challenges related with the different stages of advancing antimicrobial drug leads into potentially new therapeutics. For each major step of the “translational pipeline”, a specific topic session will be held by speakers from both academia and industry. Future concepts for improved interactions between academia, global health organizations and pharmaceutical industry as well as an improvement of the current funding situation in the field of antibiotics R&D will be the central aspect in the concluding podium discussion of the meeting. We encourage all interested people from the public as well as the various research areas in academia and industry to participate in this joint conference.
