Integrating gender and equity commitments in the revised global action plan on antimicrobial resistance

The global action plan on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has been guiding global response and developing national action plans, but it often overlooks key social and structural drivers. Recent WHO and UN strategies emphasize the need for a people-centered approach to address gender and equity dimensions of AMR. As GAP undergoes revision, prioritize human health areas to integrate gender and social determinants of health equity.
