Good practice in antimicrobial stewardship

Veterinary schools have produced recommendations around antimicrobial stewardship. These have been made by the relevant leads at member veterinary schools and form a basis for antimicrobial teaching and practice at the national level. There are two document:

Learning outcomes for antimicrobial resistance teaching

This document sets out learning outcomes for teaching antimicrobial resistance, as agreed by UK veterinary schools.

Recommendations for veterinary school associated practices

This document offers recommendations on good practice in combating antimicrobial resistance in veterinary practices associated with veterinary schools.
