Can resistant infections be perceptible in UK dairy farming?

Our analysis has highlighted that there is a need to recognise the limitations of current on-farm knowledge-practices and surveillance regimes for assessing the prevalence of antimicrobial resistance in farming. Despite being adept at identifying and diagnosing ill animals, resistance is imperceptible to farmer and veterinary experiential knowledge-practices.
