AMR Innovation Mission to the UK 2022

A unique opportunity for 25 companies from the EU, USA and the rest of the world to visit the three AMR hotspots in the UK in one week, meet with established companies and hold coordinated 1:1 partnering sessions.
Overall aim
The overall aim of the inward AMR Innovation Mission UK 2022 is to help the global curbing of Antimicrobial resistance (‘AMR’) by boosting collaboration and joint innovation with UK businesses. The physical mission is the follow up of the virtual mission that was held on 10-12 May 2021.
Objectives
The objectives of the inward AMR Innovation Mission UK 2022 include:
- Learn about the AMR hotspots & ecosystem in the UK
- Partner with delegates from the UK, EU and Rest of the World
- Initiate AMR collaborations: diagnostics, antimicrobials, and preventives markets
Programme
The programme offers key note lectures, matchmaking, showcasing AMR and extensive networking opportunities with key stakeholders across three clusters with the best UK AMR has to offer:
Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxford (covering South of England, Cardiff, Cambridge, London areas)
Alderley Park Biotech and Life Sciences cluster near Manchester (covering North of England area)
Edinburgh Biosciences Cluster in Edinburgh (covering Scotland and Northern Ireland)
The mission takes place in observance of international and UK rules regarding COVID-19.
The mission falls under the responsibility of Innovate UK and is organised in cooperation with Innovate UK EDGE and AMR Insights BV.
